Training for employees in occupational safety and health and fire protection (OHS and VPP)

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ZVZD-1) and the Fire Protection Act (ZVPoz), training in occupational safety and health and fire safety is mandatory for all employees, regardless of the nature of their work. Office workers are offered the opportunity of electronic training.

According to Article 38 of the ZVZD-1, an employer must train a worker to perform his job safely:

• at the time of employment,
• when assigned to another job,
• with the introduction of new technology and new means of work
• when there is a change in the work process that can cause a change in the level of work safety.

Health and safety training must be adjusted to the specifications of a workplace and carried out according to a programme which should be, if necessary, renewed and modified by an employer, regarding to new forms and types of threat.

OHS and FS training must be periodically updated in accordance with the ZVZD-1 and in accordance with the risk statement.

The OHS and FS trainings are implemented in the following ways:

• OHS and FS e-training for administrative work.
• Regular monthly OHS and FS training at Civis premises – regular term every month, second Tuesday in month.
• Company training – By appointment we provide training for your employees at your location.

Theoretical training is followed by a qualification examination. The training lasts 2 hours.

If a non-sufficient number of candidates are applied for an announced training term, we reserve the right to cancel or change the term.

Cost of training: € 25.00 + VAT per participant

The price includes materials, taking qualification examination, and certification.

The trainings are carried out every second Tuesday in month, at the premises of Civis Learning Center on Tržaška cesta 65 in Maribor.

Training is also provided outside the regular term or location.

The number of places in each training is limited.
