We train a participant to operate a work platform with the international IPAF license and the ISO 18878 standard. The IPAF certificate of competency is required at most construction sites in Germany and Switzerland, and is mandatory to perform work in England. The IPAF training is intended for aerial platforms, demonstrators and instructors. Since 2017, as a member of the IPAF Association, we have been acting as the first Slovenian IPAF Training Center (more about IPAF). The IPAF training platform for aerial platforms operators is certified by TÜV AUSTRIA, in accordance with ISO 18878, which defines the manner and content of training for aerial platforms users.
Why train employees under IPAF?
Occupational accidents at elevation work are very common. Ladder and scaffolding work is particularly dangerous. The introduction of work platforms instead of ladders and scaffolding contributes not only to quicker and easier access to the various hard-to-reach places, but, above all, to safer work. An IPAF International licence trainee is provided with sufficient theoretical and, above all, practical knowledge to reduce the risk of accidents when working with a lifting platform to an acceptable level.

Training for each category of platform work (1a, 1b, 3a, 3b) takes 6 hours.
Each participant who successfully completes IPAF training receives a PAL Card (Powered Access License) to prove their ability to work safely with work platforms. The PAL Card is valid for 5 years. After the expiration of the training period, the training must be retaken.
